Bills & Subscriptions
Track recurring payments so nothing catches you off guard.
Adding a Bill
Go to More → Bills and tap +. Fill in:
- Name — e.g., "Netflix", "Electricity", "Gym"
- Amount — the typical charge amount
- Due date — the day of the month or a specific date
- Frequency — weekly, monthly, quarterly, or annual
- Category — to keep it organized with your budgets
Auto-Detection
KineXi's on-device AI analyzes your transaction history and detects recurring payment patterns. When it finds a likely recurring bill, it shows a detection banner on the dashboard.
Tap Review Detected Bills to see the suggestions. Confirm the ones you want to track and dismiss any false positives. All analysis happens on your device.
Reminders
Each bill can be configured to send a push notification before its due date. Set the reminder timing from the bill's detail screen:
- 1 day before
- 3 days before
- 7 days before
The notification includes the bill name and amount so you know what's coming without opening the app.
Subscription Tracking
The Bills screen separates recurring bills from subscriptions. The Subscriptions section shows a monthly total — the sum of all active subscription amounts normalized to a per-month cost, including annual plans.
This makes it easy to see your "subscription tax" at a glance and identify any you've forgotten about or no longer use.
Dashboard Integration
Bills due within the next 7 days appear in the Upcoming Bills widget on your dashboard. The widget shows the bill name, amount, and days remaining.
The Financial Intelligence → Insights section also surfaces a subscription scan card that estimates your total monthly subscription spend and flags recent price changes.
