Portfolio & Net Worth
Track all your assets and see your true financial picture.
Setting Up Accounts
Go to the Money tab and tap + to add an account. KineXi supports:
- Checking — your primary spending account
- Savings — money set aside but accessible
- Credit — credit cards (balance shown as negative)
- Investment — brokerage or retirement accounts
- Cash — physical cash you want to track
Each account has a name, currency, and starting balance. All data is stored locally — KineXi never connects to your bank.
Portfolio Holdings
Within an Investment account, add individual holdings — stocks, ETFs, mutual funds, or index funds. For each holding, record:
- Ticker symbol or name
- Number of units held
- Purchase price (cost basis)
- Current value (updated manually)
- Currency (supports multi-currency portfolios)
KineXi shows unrealized gain/loss per holding and across your full portfolio.
Alternative Investments
The Alternative Investments section tracks assets that don't fit the standard holdings model — real estate, crypto, gold, collectibles, business equity, and more.
Each alternative investment has a name, type, current value, and currency. These are included in your net worth calculation alongside traditional accounts and holdings.
Net Worth Timeline
The Net Worth section of the Money tab shows your total assets minus liabilities over time. The chart includes:
- Historical data points from every time you updated account balances
- 3-month, 6-month, and 12-month projections based on your savings rate and spending trends
- Confidence indicator (high/moderate/low) based on data consistency
Multi-Currency
Combined totals convert accounts and assets into your selected display currency using available rates. An approximation indicator means that some rates are missing or the displayed value is an estimate.
Review balances in their original currencies before relying on a combined total. KineXi does not read bank balances or automatically fetch market prices for your holdings in this release.
